Scene Removal: During a flashback of how Sasuke escaped from the grass ninja, Sasuke stabbed his own leg to erase the feeling of fear that clouded his mind.
The snake's skin begins to crack open and out of it comes the grass ninja! The snake's blood was removed from the english version.
Naruto angry at Sasuke for trying to give up their scroll (to the grass ninja), punches him in the mouth. The blood from Sasuke's mouth was edited out..
A close up of Sasuke falling backwards after the punch. Again the blood was removed..
Character Redrawing: Naruto continues yelling at Sasuke that he's a fake, the real Sasuke would never run away and give up the scroll. Naruto was redrawn so he looked like his original character.
Character Redrawing: The grass ninja summoned a giant snake to take Team 7 out! Naruto needing a quick break, decided to take a breather on one of the numerous tree branches in the forest. Naruto was redrawn so he looked like his original character. (Seriously who is that person in the japanse version?)
While Sasuke is standing still the grass ninja orders its snake to attack Sasuke! Before they make contact, Naruto jumps in the way and stabs the snake with two kunai. The blood from the snake was reduced in size.
Naruto finally having the chance to return the insult, calls Sasuke a scaredy cat. The blood from the snake was reduced in size again.

Character Redrawing: Toward the very end of the episode Sasuke finally realizes that he can't be a coward any longer.
Sasuke was redrawn so he looked like his original character.
Music Change: The preview for episode 030 entitled "The Sharingan Revived: Dragon-Flame Jutsu!" had its music changed from a sorrowful melody to the normal preview music(a much more upbeat, faster paced song).
