Naruto Episode #2 - My Name Is Konohamaru As the episode begins, an older man is atop a building preparing to take Naruto's picture. He asks if Naruto really wants to look like that for the picture, and Naruto tells him to just take it. After the cameraman tells him to 'say cheese', we see that Naruto is completely painted white with red swirls all across his body, a very odd look for our main character. Back at The Academy, Naruto is sitting down watching the Hokage look over his ninja registration paper with his 'unique' picture. He's anxiously waiting and grinning to hear the Hokage's feedback on the picture. The ninja registration paper says: Ninja Registry My hobby is making trouble. I also like ramen, especially miso. Official Number 10267 Date of Birth 10/10, age 12, Libra Naruto begins to explain how it took almost three hours to come up with that face, as the Hokage stares down at the paper. Naruto believes the Hokage will think his picture is pretty artistic, but obviously the Hokage asks him to retake it. Naruto, after staring down the Hokage for a moment, uses his 'Sexy Jutsu' to turn into a beautiful woman to persuade him otherwise. The Hokage's nose begins to bleed as he flies back into his chair, as Naruto looks on with a strange face. A young boy approaches the door unheard as the Hokage calls Naruto's technique very "devastating". The Hokage questions Naruto on the whereabouts of his forehead protector and Naruto replies that he didn't want to have it damaged so he's saving it. Moving to another point, the Hokage explains the importance of his ninja registration paper, as it signifies a skilled ninja in their village. The Hokage questions Naruto his picture again before the small boy abruptly charges through the door with a shuriken in hand. His name is Konohamaru, and the young boy wishes to fight the Hokage and claim his spot as Fifth Hokage. While charging towards the desk where the Hokage is sitting, he trips over the floor and falls flat on his face. Naruto gives the boy an odd look and the Hokage wonders when all of these problems will end. A man in dark sunglasses runs through the door, shocked to see an injured Konohamaru. Konohamaru believes someone set a trap for him, and that's why he fell. The man asks Konohamaru if he's alright, and tells him there isn't any traps. Naruto watches from a distance wondering who this strange kid is. The man in dark sunglasses looks upon Naruto, realizing he's the Nine-Tails kid, and reveals his hatred towards him. Konohamaru approaches Naruto and states that he knows Naruto set a trap. Naruto grabs the young boy by the shirt and calls him an idiot for tripping over his own feet. The man in dark sunglasses yells at Naruto to let go of Konohamaru, who is the Third Hokage's grandson. Konohamaru believes that Naruto won't hit him because he'd be scared to hit the Hokage's own grandson. He'd act like everyone else in their village, showing respect towards him. Konohamaru proceeds to shout at Naruto to hit him if he'd like, but he knows he won't. Naruto doesn't even care and punches Konohamaru square in the head, knocking him out. The man in dark sunglasses, and the Hokage just seems annoyed. The man in dark sunglasses tells Konohamaru that he is the Hokage's grandson, and he shouldn't associate himself with people like Naruto. The man's name is Ebisu, and he is Konohamaru's "elite tutor". Ebisu tells Konohamaru that he will easily become Fifth Hokage if he learns ninjutsu from him. Ebisu continues to brag about being such a great tutor, but then turns around to find that Konohamaru isn't even there. The Hokage tells Ebisu that Konohamaru probably went after Naruto, and Ebisu sprints after the young boy. The Hokage ponders why Konohamaru has to act like he does, and that that was the twentieth surprise attack of the day. He worries that being with Naruto would be an even worse influence, and hopes Konohamaru doesn't do anything stupid. In the streets of Konoha, Naruto is walking by himself and Konohamaru is following him from close behind, hoping he won't be noticed. Naruto turns around and Konohamaru quickly shields himself with a sheet that blends in with the pathway. Naruto stares at the sheet and sees Konohamaru's feet sticking out, and he continues down the path. Konohamaru continues to follow Naruto until Naruto turns around yells for him to stop following him. Before Naruto could turn around, Konohamaru disguised himself in another sheet, this time one that blended in with a nearby fence. Naruto wants to know what the boy wants, and sees the top of his head sticking out of the sheet. He tells Konohamaru that he isn't fooling anyone with his disguises. Konohamaru giggles and reveals himself, praising Naruto on finding him. Konohamaru approaches Naruto and tells him that he'll let him be his boss. Naruto looks confused, and Konohamaru asks if Naruto will teach him the Sexy Jutsu that defeated his grandfather. Naruto refuses, but then reconsiders when Konohamaru repeatedly screams "boss". Naruto and Konohamaru begin walking through the village and Naruto tells him in order to do ninjutsu, he'll need to be able to control his "catra". Konohamaru wonders what "catra" is and envisions a brown cat in his mind. Konohamaru asks Naruto if he meant chakra instead of catra, and realizing he was wrong, he tells Konohamaru that real talented ninjas pronounce it like that. Konohamaru believes him, and Naruto is relieved that Konohamaru is such an idiot. Naruto begins to explain what chakra is, but Konohamaru interupts him and says that it is the energy used while doing a jutsu. He continues on and says that is the combined physical and spiritual energy, and by using the correct hand pose, a jutsu can be performed. Naruto yells at Konohamaru for acting like he knew what it meant, but he was merely reading from a scroll. They come to a stop and Naruto tells Konohamaru that he knows a lot, but in order to use jutsu well you need hard work and guts. Konohamaru is excited, and Naruto tells him that he will train him hard so he better be prepared. Konohamaru is ready, and Naruto tells him to do a transformation to see how good his ninja skills are. Konohamaru asks what he should transform into, and Naruto spots a pretty girl and tells him to transform into her. Konohamaru transforms, but into an extremely ugly and obese woman, in the same clothes as the pretty girl. Naruto tells him that the clothes are at least accurate, and the pretty girl is outraged and slugs Naruto in the back of the head. The pretty girl tells Konohamaru that the next time he transforms into her, he should make her cuter. Naruto wonders why he's the only one who got punched, and Konohamaru stands there, frightened of the pretty girl. Next, Naruto tells Konohamaru that they will study in the bookstore. The two of them find the owner asleep at the counter, and they sneak in towards the women's magazines. The two of them begin drooling over the women in bikinis, but the store owner approached them from behind and tells Naruto that there is no browsing in this bookstore, about to smack them both with a mop. The two of them are shocked to find the owner behind them, and as we move to the next scene, we hear a loud smack. The two of them are now standing in front of a women's public bath house, and he informs Konohamaru that this is their last stop. Naruto transforms into a beautiful girl, and Konohamaru transforms into a hideously ugly girl, but both of them are still in their ordinary clothes. They both proceed to walk in, and after only a few seconds of being within the bathhouse, you hear a loud commotion. The girls begin screaming at Naruto, asking why he's there again. In the next scene in the forest, we find that only Naruto is severely beaten, once again. Konohamaru apologizes for never being hit, and tells Naruto it's because he's the Hokage's grandson. Naruto tells him not to worry about it, and that he should be ready for the Sexy Jutsu, and the key to success is large breasts, a thin waist, and a big bottom. Konhamaru excitedly performs his first Sexy Jutsu, and once again, transforms into the hideously ugly fat woman, this time in a pink bikini. Naruto edges him on to perform the technique better, and Konohamaru keeps at it. Meanwhile, Ebisu is croached upon the Hokage Memorial, wondering what Naruto intends to do with Konohamaru, or young master. Ebisu is apparently an elite tutor who has trained many future Hokagae candidates, and he does not intend to let a virus infect his student. He disappears in an outrage. Back in the forest, Naruto and Konohamaru are taking a rest, sipping on some sodas while sitting on a log. Naruto asks Konohamaru why he repeatedly goes after his grandpa, and Konohamaru looks a little down. He tells Naruto that his grandfather named him Konohamaru, which is named after their village of Konoha. Konohamaru goes on to say that even though everyone knows that's his name, nobody even calls him that. When anybody sees him, all they see is the Hokage's grandfather, and he's sick of not being acknowledged which is why he wants the title of Hokage now. Naruto calls Konohamaru an idiot for believing anyone would acknowledge him. He tells him that the Hokage isn't a position a little brat should fill. Konohamaru is angered, and Naruto tells him that if he wants to be Hokage, he's going to have to beat him up. At the Hokage monument, the Third Hokage is standing by his lonesome staring upon the Fourth Hokage's face in stone. Iruka appears and tells him that he's been looking for him. Iruka wants to know if Naruto showed up at the Ninja Registration today, because he gave him a long lecture at the ramen place the day before. He tells the Hokage that Naruto is quite determined to be acknowledged. The Hokage continues to stare at the Fourth Hokage's stone face, and tells him Naruto's hopes may be difficult. He begins telling Iruka that the only people who know that Naruto is the Nine-Tails are the adults who fought the beast twelve years ago. He has made a rule that anyone to mention that fact will be severely punished. The children don't know this, which is Naruto's only advantage. The Fourth Hokage wanted their village to view Naruto as a hero, and that was his final wish as he died making the seal. The Fouth Hokage sealed the demon fox within a newborn baby, Naruto, and he became the vessel of the beast for the sake fo the village. The adults do not view Naruto this way, some even view him as the demon himself. Their attitude towards Naruto has even been passed down to their children as well. He tells Iruka that the eyes of hatred are frighteningly cold towards the person they do not acknowledge. Ebisu is now leaping from tree to tree in the forest until he finds the log where Naruto and Konohamaru are sitting. Ebisu gives Naruto a cold look, and Naruto wonders why everyone gives him that same look. Ebisu tells Konohamaru it's time to leave, but Konohamaru refuses because he needs to defeat his grandfather and take the Hokage name and Ebisu is just in his way. Ebisu tells Konohamaru that the Hokage must be a well-rounded ninja, knowing over a 1,000 skills. Konohamaru disapproves, and uses the Sexy Jutsu. His Sexy Jutsu is perfect, and Ebisu is completely shocked that Konohamaru was taught such a vulgar skill. He tells Konohamaru that he is a gentleman, and a low-class technique like that has no effect on him. Ebisu tries grabbing Konohamaru to take him home, telling him that his training will earn him the position of Hokage. Konohamaru is resisting as much as he can, and an angered Naruto uses his Shadow Clone Jutsu to create around thirty shadow clones. Konohamaru finds Naruto's skill amazing. Ebisu tells Naruto that he's a jounin, an elite tutor, and that he's no Mizuki. Ebisu approaches the clones, and Konohamaru has faith in his boss. The Hokage is watching the entire situation through his crystal ball. Ebisu crouches into a battle position, but Naruto has every single clone use the Sexy Jutsu. All of the clones begin hugging and grabbing Ebisu, and his nose begins bleeding profusely as he flies backwards. As Ebisu is flinching on the ground, Naruto tells him that he calls that new technique Harem Jutsu. The Hokage can't believe Naruto thought of another stupid skill, combining his Shadow Clone Jutsu and Sexy Jutsu. He figures he'd probably fall for that one also. It is sunset, and Naruto and Konohamaru are still in the forest. Konohamaru can't believe he wasn't able to defeat his teacher, and he really wants to be acknowledged. Naruto tells Konohamaru that becoming Hokage isn't so easy, becoming the greatest ninja in the entire village. He tells Konohamaru that he was often lost with so many hardhips in his life. He finally found someone who accepted him, Iruka, but getting that one person to accept him was incredibly difficult. Naruto continues on to say that if Konohamaru wants to achieve the great role of Hokage, he needs to accept that there will be no shortcuts. Konohamaru begins reminiscing about Naruto telling him he'd have to kick his butt to become Hokage. He tells Naruto to stop acting so special and lecturing him, and that he doesn't want Naruto being his boss any longer. From now on, he says they will be rivals and they both smile. Naruto tells Konohamaru that tomorrow he's taking the first step in becoming a full-fledged ninja, and one day they will fight for the Hokage name. Naruto says he'll wait for when that day comes, and walks off. As he's walking he waves goodbye to Konohamaru, and Konohamaru salutes him. Meanwhile, the Hokage staring into his crystal ball says that Naruto's first step in becoming a ninja is now beginning. Next Episode! Sasuke and Sakura: Friends or Foes? Ahh...not Sasuke, I can't stand 'em! Why do I have to be in his group? Sakura keeps calling his name, "Sasuke, Sasuke..." She won't even look at me. Ugh! Hey, I know!
