General Skills are common Ninjutsu techniques that are used by most, if not all ninja. Some of the more simplistic skills are generally learned at a young age in school, like Konoha's Ninja Academy. Most of these skills are learned by ninja to be used effectively in certain situations. They aren't necessarily Ninjutsu, but arts known by Ninja.

- Clone Jutsu - Bunshin no Jutsu

This jutsu creates a simple copy of the original user to be used for distraction or divertion. If the clone comes into contact with an enemy, it'll immediately turn into a cloud of smoke. - Escape Jutsu - Rope Untying no Jutsu

English Name: Escape Jutsu Japanese Name: Rope Untying no Jutsu Rank: E Used By: All Ninja Escape Jutsu isn't exactly a jutsu, but it is used when a ninja is in need of removing themselves from a certain restraint, such as a rope. - Replacement Jutsu - Kawarimi no Jutsu

While being attacked, or in the process of being attacked, a ninja will substitute their body with another nearby object. The ninja can then hide and watch their dumbfounded opponent from a distance.
