Towards the end of August in 2005, Air Grady and Joby came up with an idea; it was to create a website. They didn't know where to begin or what it should be about, but they finally agreed that it something based on anime would work for them. After thinking for a very long time, Joby mentioned that the widely known anime Naruto was going to air on Cartoon Network in September. It would air in english across North America. It then hit them! Then it all came together; normally on Cartoon Network they edit many scenes to allow the show to be suitable for younger audiences. They decided on creating a website that showed the differences between the English and Japanese versions of the show. Having only a couple weeks before the show hit the air, Air Grady and Joby got to work. Air Grady, having much knowledge and talent when it came to Macromedia Dreamweaver and Adobe Photoshop, designed the entire site from scratch. Joby on the other hand having almost no knowledge of either program stayed in the background and focused on how things would run when the site was up. Finally the site launched on August 31st, 2005.
